The design is inherently based on "reductionism" whereby the design nerfs something effective, to the point it's worse than the alternative.which by itself is fairly weak. Many of the designs choices are flawed and not easily fixable, such as the firing arc of the side guns that makes their effectiveness rather small compared to having archwings draw aggro and engage fighters and kill crew ships. The additional issue is that railjacks are just weak and bad to begin with. The point of this game system is to INTEGRATE existing systems, not pointless make X Y Z "bad" so as to make the other option (railjack) seemingly better. This is just bad game design, because frankly straight up archwing missions are a joke in their own right. The problem with this is that this means that the Archwings go from useful to pointless, being token things that become NOT worth upgrading in the long run. As they stand railjacks are sponges that offer minimal damage unless you get the nice loot drops that require a lot of farming to actually repair and use worth a tosh. Unless you really kill the amesha and make it unusable i don't see anyone picking the trash, yes the trash that is itzal and elytron on this game mode, their abilities bring nothing to the game, nothing at all. How about instead of nerfing the single stuff that works right now, you actually improve the kit of the other archwings/archguns and fix the insane damage going around in railjack that one shots archwings with over 5k hp in total health and shields not counting armor value. Pretty much every single player had 1 or 2 maybe even all three of these forma'ed and ready to go for this update, is it coincidence they aren't usable at all? i think not, it was intentional so players had to forma other weapons, best way to get plat flowing is to make people spend it on formas. Larkspur it has very limited range and wtf is this damage its right now the single worst weapon to use in archwing, cant hit nothing so slow it is. It had nerfed the arch of projectile, nerfed speed of projectile, nerfed fire rate. Itzal is ♥♥♥♥ doesn't have a single ability worth using in railjack, the elytron, dont even let me start on that one completely outrun by fighters and his abilities are even less suitable for railjack than itzal's.Ĭouple that with only 2/3 arch-weapons actually being viable wtf do you expect your numbers to show, you nerfed all the guns that we could be using in railjackįluctus is a dead horse, considered to be one of the best if not the best archgun for a long time You know what screw you DE, amesha currently is the only usable archwing, and tha'ts only when its 1 ability is up, because most of the time has soon has it goes down, it's instakill.
